This medium wheel base mercedes sprinter has been converted to a very high standard using only premium products and materials. The overall condition is excellent, bodywork is above average, and the conversion should withstand many years use.
The extruded aluminium framework paired with composite aluminum sheeting, various acrylics and bamboo ply have transformed this sprinter into a luxurious adventure van.
To list all its features and explain why it compares well to the best of traditional motorhomes would take some time. The first to see will probably buy. Its fantastic.
The main source for heat is the the wallas xc duo. This is a premium product that operates almost silently, using a minimal amout of 12v power and diesel. It has multiple advantages compared to alternative heating and cooking sources.
Good ventilation and airflow is acheived using the maxxair deluxe, cr lawrence sliding window, ridgeline bug screen and scirrocco fan.
The surface area for cooking and preparing food is large. The bench and bed can be used to place items and the bamboo worktop is a good size. The sink is shallow and has a low profile drain, this has increased usable workspace and offers more space for a large drawer below.
110 litres of water are divided between two onboard tanks. The water heater can be powered by the inverter or mains hook up. An 80 litre waste tank is underslung. Other components such as diaphram pump, accumilatior, valves and faucets are all good quality.
Water dispensed from the smaller tap comes from the onboard tanks and is safe to drink. The 12v ultra violet sterilisation system will filter and sterilise up to 2 litres of water per minute. When the faucets blue light glows the system is active and your water will be safe.
The unit under the cooker has ample storage space and the it has a large drop down door providing a large work surface and ease of access.
On the drivers side a large bench with a profesionaly upholstered cushion sits on top of three large drawers and the fridge. Some utensils and pans are included as they fit in the dividers well. The lower drawer stores plenty of food and a selection of storage containers for dried goods etc. And another drawer under the fridge.
The dometic cfx 35 fridge freezer has a durable insulating cover and sits inside a made to measure drawer. A tug on the magnetic latch and the unit glides out. Access is gained from the top. This keeps cool air within the unit when opened and prevents spillages whilst driving.
The woo woo seperate tiny is a market leading seperating loo. It is the key item to truly use this van off grid without the need for chemical disposal points. It is fixed upon a raised platform. This design allows easy access to the fixed bed, a small utility area for vents and fuses and a fibreglass storage area with drain.
Two lithium batterys provide 2,560 watts to the 210ah 12v renogy system. Depending on your usage patterns, a few days off grid in poor weather is acheivable as many of the components are extremely efficient. If the days are long or you are road tripping then its easy to forget the system exists. Everything expected of a high spec van is present. All steps have been taken to ensure a profesional installation. The system is reliable, easy to understand and use.
The rear cargo area is large. Recessed L-track channells have been integrated into the floor. Fork mounts, eyelets and various other componants can be securely fitted, removed or adjusted in seconds. Mountain bikes, camping equipment, surfboards, lumber and tipruns are all possible with this larger than average cargo area.
The fixed bunk is 180cm by 90cm plus a little extra if measuring the diagonal. A side pod bonded onto the exterior of the van allowing extra room for taller users. The matress is made to measure, has a professionaly sewn stretch fabric protector, and can be removed to gain full access to all electronics, plumbing and cargo. Another berth measuring 200cm by 60cm is made up from the bench and drivers seat.
The two captain seats swivell 180 degrees facing into the rear. A lay flat handbrake has been installed. The dash, door cards, and floor are in very good condition. Remis cab blinds are fitted to all cab windows, so privacy and uv protection can be acheived in seconds. A low roof headlining has been retrofitted and a shelf above the cab provides plenty of storage. The pillar trims are custom made from bamboo ply and the cabs blackout curtains are neatly concealed when open.
The over head storage cabinets offer plenty of storage. Translucent door fronts keep the items in place. This translucent acrylic material allows light to enter the cupboard when in the open position and they can glow any colour using led backlights.
All panels are treated with ressonance dampening mat, closed cell insulating foam and thermal fleece. The panels are plywood and lined with a heavy duty durable textured fabric. The floor is insulated.
All drawers and partitions are made from poplar plywood. The primary construction method is pocket hole joinery and anything wooden has been treated with an extremely durable 2k varnish.
A 4G roof mounted antenna ensures a strong and reliable signal for the built in wifi router.
Entertainment is provided with a good quality 24 inch tv.
An android head unit reverse camera, bluetooth audio, wifi connectivity and upgraded focal speakers. (A space behind the drivers seat is dedicated for shallow sub, but never utilised).
The alloy wheels with michellin agillis all season cross climate tyres have additional sidewall protection giving them a rugged off road look. The all season rubber compound will perform well in any climate.
The bumpers and plastic trims are raptor lined. This durable truck bed liner is a textured uv resistant type of paint, it is extremely durable and gives a permenantly black finish.
Its mechanicaly sound. No major issues in its history, i have needed to replace the intake manifold and exhaust. Other than that all servicing has been kept up to date, all fluids are fairly new, all brakes have been replaced including handbrake backing plates, disks, pads and fluids. Also new belts and tensioners. A full service printout is provided.
Its registered on the v5c as a motor caravan, so 70mph is the legal speed on dual carriageways.
It does not have a speed limiter.
Both keys and blades are present.
Its unladen weight is under 2.8 ton. Thats extremely light for a comprehinsive conversion. Its max gross weight is 3.5 ton, so a massive payload thats unlikely to be exceeded.
A binder including manuals for the vehicle, every product and the conversion has been created.
Photos 1 to 23 were taken in july 2026. I have watched passers by take photos of this van, its stunning, but please note its a used van and not a brand new vehicle. Rust is minimal but a few patches are present.
The van will be used as often as possible whilst for sale, but it will be cleaned and made as presentable as possible for any veiwings.
