1990 Holdsworth Ranger Motorhome
With sadness its time to sell our beloved Rosie, our 36 year young Holdsworth Ranger coachbuilt Motorhome.registered in 1990, She was built on a Renault Trafic mark 1 Chassis, 2 litre petrol engine, 5 speed Gearbox with the rare Rear wheel drive. This makes the non power steering easier to use. She is under 3.5 ton so can be driven on a standard driving leicence.. She has taken us on many holidays from Killin to the New Forest. We use her as a two berth but she could sleep a child above the cab and is fitted with three seat belts. The odometer shows 13751 miles this seems to be genuine judging by the MOT history. I can no longer look after her the way she needs even cleaning her is beyond me as im not allowed to climb ladders.During our ownership she has changed from a poorly looked after back firing disaster to our comfy unique mobile holiday home

Stainless steel custom built exhaust.
Fully serviced with new Plugs,HT leeds,distributer cap,air filter the holder of which has had the airflow system sorted, fan belt. The carburetor has been changed to a Webber so now ticks over well without stalling when you come off throttle.
The rear air suspension has been recomissioned so ride is now excellent.
The heating and fire had a gas leak so has been taken out and a deisel heater has been fitted and uses the heating ducting system so bathroom is heated as well.
All internal lighting has been upgraded to LED with dimmable reading lights.
Fridge also leaked so has been removed and space now has a 12v and 240 v feeds we just used a camping cool box.
MOT till 15 04 27 new brake discs and pads will be included ,I have reworked hazzard switch but still not great will need replaced. Outline marker comment on mot is using a modern rule not applicable to older vehicles. Marker light have been replaced and updated to original spec, .
All welding was undetaken 3 years ago and undersealed so now solid underneath.
Oil and filter changed yearly
Rear diferetial oil chagne 2 years around a 1000 miles ago most important on these models,
Last year rear brakes replaced including slave cylinders and brake shoes.
4 Bicycle rack fitted
The interior has been updated to our taste,with upholstory covers and bright cushions, the rear window blind has been replaced again nice and bright, some internal and table respraid. The passenger seat turns round to be used in the habitationarea.
Bathroom with fully working fitted Thetford toilet which empties from outside, taps renewed as we removed the shower
The kitchen area has a hob and grill, an oven, sink and drainer. The tap has been replaced with a mixer tap as the water is an onboard water tank presure system with a gas cascade water system.
She comes with lots of documentation icluding lots of old mots, invoices and the original Renault book and Holdsworth instruction sheets.
