Much-loved, professionally converted VW T6 Highline campervan, owned by me since September 2023 and maintained regardless of cost, with regular garage servicing and preventative maintenance throughout my ownership.
With just 45,000 miles, this is a beautifully presented VW T6 T28 Highline SWB campervan, professionally converted by VW Worx of Nantwich and finished in stunning Indium Grey Metallic.
It has been continually cared for and improved rather than simply used. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 37,000 miles, new rear coil springs were fitted in March 2026, the 18” diamond-cut alloy wheels have recently been refurbished and the tyres are in excellent condition.
It also benefits from a new leisure battery, new sink water pump and tap, recent chrome side bars and a number of other improvements.
MOT until March 2027. Two keys. Ready to use and enjoy.
Vehicle specification
2018 Volkswagen T6 Transporter T28 Highline 2.0 TDI
SWB • 5-speed manual • 45,000 miles • 2 berth • 4 travelling seats
Finished in Indium Grey Metallic with:
Entertainment & cab
A Pioneer SPH-DA160 DAB touchscreen stereo provides Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless adapter is included.
The front seats have recently been fitted with smart, padded VW-branded seat covers, complemented by a matching steering-wheel cover.
The passenger seat is a swivelling Captain’s Seat, creating a comfortable living area when parked.
Professional VW Worx conversion
The camper conversion was professionally undertaken by VW Worx of Nantwich and incorporates a number of distinctive VW Worx bespoke features.
The van is configured as a four-seat, two-berth campervan and includes a TÜV-approved, crash-tested 3/4 Rock ‘n’ Roll bed, trimmed with matching cushions and arm bolsters.
Rear passengers benefit from two three-point seatbelts and removable rear headrests.
Kitchen
The fitted kitchen includes:
There’s also a particularly nice VW Worx illuminated wine-bottle rack.
Storage & interior
The full flush-fit cabinetry provides an impressive amount of storage without compromising the living space, including under-bed cabinets, a wardrobe with both side and rear access, cupboards above the rear seating and additional kitchen storage.
A clever stowable table is integrated into the tailgate, so there’s no separate table taking up valuable storage space.
One of the conversion’s most distinctive features is the bespoke VW Worx “surfboard” style roof panel with remote-controlled colour-changing LED illumination.
There are also LED reading lights over the rear seats and integrated curtains to all rear windows.
Camping & electrical equipment
The van is well equipped for weekends away and longer trips, including a Sargent EC160 electrical power supply/controller, new leisure battery, mains hook-up and cable, 240V/12V and USB sockets, LED interior lighting, thermal interior window blinds, exterior wrap-around blackout screen and magnetic mosquito nets.
VW Worx-branded carpet mats are fitted to the front, rear and side-step areas.
Security is enhanced by a professionally installed Global Telemetrics tracker.
Maintenance & ownership
I have owned the camper since September 2023, and it has been maintained regardless of cost, with regular garage servicing and preventative maintenance.
Significant recent maintenance and improvements include:
February 2024 – 37,000 miles:
Timing/cam belt and water pump replaced.
