2012 VW T5.1 Campervan T30 140bhp 6 speed with aircon and tailgate with only 94,500 miles and full service history including cambelt / water pump and EGR valve. Serviced 17 Jan 25. MOT until Jul 25.
This van was originally a Kombi and was converted by Bodans in Shrewsbury. Pop-top was installed in 2022 by The Dub Hub in Kent. Inside, the van was insulated, lined and carpeted, with additional sound proofing in the front doors.
A full width 3 seat 150cm rib bed was installed (safest for passengers and £3k on its own). Full 240 volt electrics with hook up socket under the bonnet. Built in 3 stage split charger and leisure battery fitted to power the Waeco fridge/freezer and there is also a 2kw diesel night heater. Van x blinds and I also have a set of suction blinds for the front windows. The roof lining has LED spotlights and remote colour adjustable LED strip lights.
Front seats are black leather captain style seats with adjustable armrests, the passenger one being on a swivel base. There is a removable table which fits as shown in the photos. The standard steering wheel was replaced with a thicker and retrimmed one by Royal steering wheels. Floor is a hard wearing unmarked altro vinyl which I have covered with tailored made mats.
Externally the bodywork is in good condition as you can see, some minor chips on wing mirrors, bonnet and a scuff over the rear right wheel arch. It has been professionally detailed and benefits from subtle modification including daylight running lights, facelifted rear lights, revised grill, side bars, roof bars and extended front and rear spoilers plus wind-deflectors. There is the benefit of a tow bar and electrics. The van has factory fitted rear parking sensors and aftermarket Bluetooth hands free kit / music streaming.
The wheels are unmarked KMC Holeshot (£1600) and fitted with a set of General Grabber tyres. The van has been lowered by 30mm, still giving a comfortable and quiet ride. Being the standard 6 speed 140bhp this has been remapped to approx 170bhp so is a very comfortable cruiser. I have all manuals, service history, spare key.
This van is a real head turner and is not some ex works vehicle that shows signs of wear! For the right sale price the van will come with a Vango airbeam drive-away awning (Kela standard) costing £600, it has an extra bedroom and fits to the awning rail fitted to the van. Thule Easyfold tow-bar mounted 2-bike carrier (£700), an Avtex smart TV/DVD and aerial (£450) plus a set of thermal front window blinds.
