Its time to let our much loved VW go – we are ending our 10 years of the ‘Van Life’ and decided to sell the van.
We bought this van last year, and had some upgrades and updates since using it throughout the year. Whoever buys the van is going to benefit from a much loved and no expense spared van.Basic description:2 seats, u shape custom rear seat converts to double bed.
Engine total rebuild at 145k miles. All receipts to show work completed – everything replaced, crank, seals, bearings.
Since had new original VW exhaust manifold in 2024 (£2k) and new alternator and belts 2024 (£800).
Oil catcher fitted to reduce back pressure and trap harmful moisture in top breather system.
Replacement headlight units (angel eyes) and aftermarket front fog lamps and loom
Recent all round brake service. Front door hinges replaced.
T5.1 manual folding door mirrors
12 v system with 240 v hook up.
Numerous 240 and 12 v outlets.

Bodywork is sound / no rust.This is the 2.5 tdi, chain not belt, 5 cylinder. Very agricultural but strong engine. The engine bay is clean, front grill replaced to original spec.White door handles, Dark grey carpet lining to rear, matching grey upholstery.I could consider delivering but would expect return travel expenses, and obviously payment before delivery.I am not a trader, I am a private seller. As such I do not offer warranty. The van is bought as seen, so please consider having an independent survey of the van. Returns are not accepted.Payment – in full, cleared bank transfer payments only.The van is currently on a private plate which will be removed at point of sale and original age related (04) plate will be reinstated. The replacement V5 will be forwarded to the purchaser.Insurance is through ‘Carvanwise’ who do a reasonable offer for camper conversions, limited miles (7k) £500.Road tax – £350 year.
