Tax Free and MOT exempt as more than 40 years old. We had a load of welding completed to get her MOTd in May 23, since when she has been in dry storage, barely used. Buyers choice to get MOTd if you wish
She was a true “barn find” in that she had been sat in a barn for 12 years before we found her. We restored her to original condition using as much of the original Holdsworth campervan installation as possible but have also made some practical modifications. The mattress cushions are all new, with covers and curtains made by my wife. I stripped the interior completely (3rd from last picture) and added sound and thermal insulation, stripped and painted all fittings and new wiring
She can run on 12v leisure battery or electric hookup, has a 2 ring hob with grill and a small 3 way (12volt, 240volt or gas) fridge that works a treat. You can easily attach a “low” awning as seen in the 4th from last picture (awning not included)
The front seats have been replaced with Mazda MX5 seats as the original seats aren’t great after 200 miles or so! Wingmirrors have been upgraded, way better visibility..
The engine is the original air-cooled CU 2.0ltr showing 38K miles on the clock. We initially had this running in its original state but gave in and updated to twin Webber carbs (second to last picture) as we wanted to go over 40mph!
She has had new brakes, new clutch, new starter motor, new vehicle and leisure battery and Webber Carb conversion
The original seats and carbs, toilet seat, window blackouts all included as they are part of the vehicle.
I found a trailer with a similar shape to the Campervan, refurbished (new floor and wheels) and painted it to match. I’ve also made brackets (see the last photo) so it takes up less room when stored
We’ve had her for a good few years, had lots of fun but only used her twice in 2024 so decided to sell so someone else can get as much enjoyment out as we have had
