1972 VW T2 Bay Window Devon Moonraker campervan with drive away awning. I have only owned this van for a couple of years now and have done a lot of work to get it back up and running (non runner when first acquired), whilst keeping her totally original where possible (apart from replacing dynamo with alternator, new fuel pump, battery etc). On going project. 32,000 miles on the clock, some spots of rust and chips commensurate with age. Few bubbles appearing in paintwork and bit of rust on side door. Next task was to sort this out, plus possible respray (fancied a different colour scheme). Please see pics. Also, internally, all seats and seat backs, cushions etc have been reupholstered. So far have only been able to get the heating to blow warm air. Runs and drives well. Unfortunately, due to circumstance, I have had to prioritise certain things in my life, and have sadly had to make the decision to let her go. Only taken out a few times last year, and sat for rest of year (covered), apart from a bit of tinkering when i had the time. All serious offers considered. Hopefully this iconic vehicle can find a home with somebody who is more able at present to spare the time for her, and give her the TLC that she deserves.
