Volkswagen T2 Viking Campervan. Up for sale is our lovely VW camper ‘Bluebell’ We are in our 8th year of ownership and have loved every minute! However it is time to let someone else enjoy the van, as we need something bigger to go further afield/abroad etc.

Volkswagen T2 Viking Campervan. Up for sale is our lovely VW camper ‘Bluebell’ We are in our 8th year of ownership and have loved every minute! However it is time to let someone else enjoy the van, as we need something bigger to go further afield/abroad etc.
Overall the van is in great condition, having had many new panels around 2012. Also the van has been waxoiled regularly during our ownership. There are some areas where there is some minor bubbling only to be expected for a vehicle of this age. Engine is 1700 upright.
Recent parts include both vehicle battery and leisure battery this year. Brake discs/pads up front, full rear brake replacement/shoes/cylinders/drums/backplates. Also all the suspension arm ball joints have been replaced.
Upgrades include wood steering wheel, electric fuel pump/filter/pressure regulator and gauge. Electronic ignition module.
Equipment includes, sink with electrical water pump and 2 ring gas hob. Rock n roll bed, range of cupboards, digital radio, storage box/seat. Camping table clips in above the bed when stowed. Also included is a Vango hex air beam drive away awning which is still in great condition.
Bad points are some bubbling of paint here and there as previously mentioned, fuel gauge does not work (this is common on many late bays) Engine starts/runs great with no end float.
Overall this is a good usable, sensibly priced VW camper in great condition. Maintained by an Aircooled VW enthusiast (currently I own other Aircooled VW’s!) We have been on many many trips in ‘Bluebell’ and have continued using her until now. The van is ready for the new owners to go camping etc.
