Vw splitscreen camper 1955 an early non barn door still maintaining barn door glass . Originally from Sweden. I brought this van from FBI Volkswagen dealer in 2003 , I registered this in 2003 and have used it ever since. Had a full restoration in 2004/2005 . The engine has been upgraded to a 1600cc unleaded engine, still running the original gearbox and has also been converted to 12v electric with an extra 12v battery running the cool…

I brought this van from FBI Volkswagen dealer in 2003 , I registered this in 2003 and have used it ever since. Had a full restoration in 2004/2005 . The engine has been upgraded to a 1600cc unleaded engine, still running the original gearbox and has also been converted to 12v electric with an extra 12v battery running the cool box/ fridge. It has a full width rock and roll bed and a 2 burner stove and sink unit built in to a light weight bulk head kitchen.
Benefiting from a bench seat up front and still has and working semaphore indicator with led indicator mounted under the bumper irons .
In the last month it has been fully ice blasted underneath with all old under seal removed and new under seal and lanogard coating to protect for another 71 years .
There is also an air beam awning and lots more camping accessories to be included.
