Sadly, my pride and Joy is up for sale. I’ve had some amazing adventures in the Caddy, and she has never let me down. Impending house purchase forces the sale. Hopefully someone can get just as much enjoyment out of it as I have had.
I had the van built with a go anywhere in any weather adventures in mind. I’ve been all over Scotland, England and France and she has never caused me any problems.
She’s a super reliable Caddy, always maintained, regardless of cost.
Mechanical / engine / maintenance
2.0 TDI 102 BHP startline BlueMotion
Will come with fresh MOT Previous MOT was clean
FSH – Stack of paperwork – Van was owned by a business and had ££££ spent on maintenance prior to my ownership
170k on the clock, but will rise slightly as still in use
Cambelt and water pump replaced by Bosch Service Centre with invoice and sticker in the engine.
New Glow Plugs
Uprated oil pressure switch (known failing point)
New Battery
Alternator and Aux belt replaced
Regular Oil + Filter changes and serviced Annually

Engine is smooth, pulls well and does not use oil or add blue. Drives like a new Van.

Bed and storage system by Ply-Guys, with Harris Tweed upholstery (High quality work, and not cheap)https://www.theplyguys.co.uk/ – Loads of storage and very comfortable to sleep in. Note, if you’re particularly tall, then will likely be too small. I’m 5’10 and fit perfectly.
12v Leisure Battery – professionally installed by North View Customs https://www.northviewcustoms.co.uk/with 4 USB ports to the rear and Victron Blue tooth battery monitoring
Auto-term Deisel Heater – Professionally installed by North View Customs https://www.northviewcustoms.co.uk/ – This is NOT a cheap Chinese heater.https://autoterm.com/ – Cost over £1500 supplied and fitted. Digital Thermostat on the wall of the van with various settings for heating and ventilation. Hooked up to the fuel tank and is amazing for winter adventures. You can run the heater all night with no issues, and it uses next to no fuel.
IPAD bracket, to allow the IPAD to be hung from the ceiling. Perfect for watching movies in bed.
VAN-X Curtains fitted to bulkhead and rear barn doors. Super thick black-out curtains. Keeps the heat in, and the heat out in summer.
Bodywork
For a 2016 Van the bodywork is in fantastic shape – there are stone chips and the bonnet of these suffer which is expected.
Add ons
She benefits from some cool Cruize off road alloys wheels with Comforser offroad tires. Mint condition with no curbing or damage. Tires have barely worn in at all
