12v fridge in the rear and Waeco fridge between the two front seats. Drop down TV/DVD. Bainbridge Marine twin gas hob and grill, mounted in a self-contained unit that can be used inside, swung outside or removed completely.
Super comfy bed with a 15cm memory foam mattress. VanX blackout curtains in the rear and insulated Silver Screen windscreen cover. Inside lights and spotlights and two 3 pin sockets when on hook-up (cable included). Removable table unit. Sony stereo system with Bluetooth.
Remote central locking with 2 keys. Two stainless steel side exhausts and stainless-steel side bars. Volkswagon alloy wheels. Front window covers that allow the windows to be slightly open and keep the rain out).
Full fabric van cover and small awning included. Also, a kid’s bed included that goes over the front two seats (although the van only has two seat belts). May also include a large ‘drive away’ awning.
Built as a demonstrator by The Conversion Company, the interior design is based on a 1960’s Devon Camper.
Mechanically excellent and very reliable. Body work good with only a few spots of rust. Timing belt done.
There are a couple of minor issues, including the cream leather effect ‘flaking’ a bit and the rear fridge not working properly (the fan still works and the front fridge works fine). Also, the passenger side electric window doesn’t work (maybe just a loose connector).
We’ve had 8 happy years with ‘Yogi’ and only selling to get a bigger van due to us recently getting a big daft dog!
