Henry came into our lives as an empty van. We spent months of evenings and weekends turning him into exactly what we wanted: a proper home on wheels, not a compromise.
The timber interior is warm and solid. The bench seats are where we’ve eaten hundreds of meals, played cards in the rain, and watched sunsets through the rear doors. Flip it flat and you have the widest king-size bed you’ll find in a van this size, with storage underneath and along the side.
The kitchen is small but serious: we love to gather local produce and cook in the van so we kitted it out. Electric pump tap with a sink and waste water tank, a Dometic 12V compressor fridge that keeps things cold even in the heat (and doubles as a freezer), and enough worktop to cook. Power comes from a leisure battery on split charge. We’ve never run low on even longer off grid stretches. We’ve fitted a brand new 140Ah AGM battery for the sale so you’re ready to go from day one.
The yacht arm table repositions depending on whether you’re eating, working, or just want the space open. Dimmer spotlights and LED ambient strips make evenings feel like a place, not a vehicle.
Henry has taken us to the Western Isles for two weeks of white sand beaches and zero phone signal. He’s crossed into the Dolomites and French Alps. He’s driven the full length of the Wild Atlantic Way and wound through the Scottish Highlands. Every trip has been better for having him.
We’re only selling because life is taking us in a new direction. Henry deserves someone who’ll load the bikes on the rack, fill the fridge, and drive somewhere they’ve never been. |
