Fantastic condition for a 2009 Elgrand, only some minor marks on the outside as expected. This van was imported to the UK in November 2023 and professionally converted into a camper in May 2024. The conversion is professional and is of a very high standard, its STUNNING! Inside the van is in great condition and has only been used as a camper 2/3 times since purchase in May 2024.
A very very reluctant sale as we don’t feel we can get enough use as a camper as we would like. It drives like a dream! I can’t praise it enough. No issues at all since buying.
Some features include – 2.5litre, only 44k miles, 4×4, matching front and back seats to fit the conversion, fridge, sink, cooker, rock n roll bed, leisure battery, hook up, pop top which can be used to sleep 2 more small people or children if you get hold of a board (not included), LPG conversion duel fuel (costs £2k to install normally), under sealed in May 2024, rear CATS done, Speedo converted to miles, media unit converted to English, MOT until April 2025.
I also have the FULL Japanese history of the vehicle including photos to give you confidence in its previous life in Japan.
I have also added a very useful digital speedo to the dash along with a tyre pressure monitoring system and a magnetic phone holder plus an extra USB port on the passenger side which comes in very handy.
The van is literally ready to go camping the minute you buy it. We are happy to include the contents which have spent considerable time and money building up so it can be used for camping. Includes stuff like, memory foam mattress (must have), cutlery, plates, cups, double sleeping bag that splits into single (used 2/3 times), camping gaz bottle for cooker, hook up lead, bin, mat, magnetic light, storage boxes and probably quite a few more bits besides.
I have also had the V5 fuel changed too so thats done aswell. The van was serviced when we bought it in May 2024 but we dont have documentation for that. We have all the other docs such as V5, Japan Vehicle History Report, LPG installation certificate with warranty until May 2026, import documents, gas installation, MOT certificate.
The addition of LPG on the van has been a game changer on the fuel economy. When we bought the van in May 2024 i filled it up with petrol and LPG together. It’s now October 2024 and i still have just under half a tank of petrol left. I always find LPG stations to fill and have NEVER needed to fill with petrol since the first fill. There is an app to find where all the LPG stations are and what the prices are, it’s invaluable. The LPG tank holds 60 litres and you could go hundreds of miles with the both tanks full if you needed to, it automatically switches when LPG runs out, you don’t notice.
A truly fantastic van that we will be sad to let go. Never let us down or needed any work.
