This is a self build Mercedes Sprinter 314CDi 2.0L MWB campervan. Vehicle first registered on the 31/01/2017. MOT passed on the 04/03/25 with no advisories; Expiry of test in 14/03/26. Since having the vehicle 18 months ago I have had it serviced regularly. Current mileage is 94,852, but will increase as van is being used daily to commute to and from work. Usual spec with the van including cruise control,6 speed gear box; and a reversing camera has been fitted.
The double passenger seat is on a swivel base to add extra seating to the living area.
The campervan is self built, though the kitchen unit and overhead units were purchased from new. It is fitted with a basic electrical system of 12v and 240v systems, 1500w inverter, 125w of solar, the Power Hub battery is also charged via the vehicle battery. Diesel heater with remote control, MaxAir fan with remote control. A gas BBQ point has been added with gas locker in the garage area.
Walls, ceiling and floor have been sound deadened and insulated. Altro flooring fitted throughout living and garage area.
The bed is 5′ long, but the drop leaf section makes the bed 6′ long. When drop leaf is extended the bed is a full double sized bed. The garage area houses the gas locker, and diesel tank for the heater. The garage area is very big as I built it to be able to accommodate my XL mountain ebike with the front wheel removed. The garage area is also fitted with a 240v socket that is used to charge the ebike.
The body work is good, though as with all vans of the age there is the odd bump and blemish.
My intention when purchasing the van and undertaking the conversion was to travel the UK and Europe but the reality is that I have only slept in the van 15 nights in 18 months. The van is also my only vehicle and it is not practical as an everyday run around and commute to and from work. Hopefully someone will enjoy the van and make use of it as a camper.
