This is a very flexible campervan, that’s great as a base for five people or spacious luxury for two. That’s cheap to run and insure and at under 7.5 m long is welcome at most campsites, winding country roads and ferries. It’s got lots of storage, plenty of space and great views out and ventilation. Three drive seats in the drivers cab and two rear facing drive seats in lounge area. We didn’t know if we’d like camping in a van, so bought this as a trial, we’ve loved it and kept it for far longer than we’d planned, it’s been a great introduction to campervaning for us and we’ve travelled from Orkney, to Kent and Cornwall on some amazing trips. We’ve just bought a new van so it’s time to sell.
Comfort.
GAS IT lpg tank, so you can fill up with cheaper gas at a service station, supplies the hob and boiler with a third point for a bbq connection. The FUMA boiler supplies hot air heating and hot water and runs on gas or electricity when you’re hooked up. MAXAIR DELUXE fan regulates the air temperature and makes this a very comfortable van to be and sleep in on the hottest or coldest days and nights.
Cooking.
The kitchen has a double gas hob and sink unit, WAECO fridge and plenty of storage around the kitchen with mains and USB ports to power your essentials, we usually take a proper coffee machine with us.
Dining and sleeping.
Main dining area has three layouts, dining table and two comfy benches that easily sit six, with loads of storage under the benches and access to the loo cassette. This converts to a king size plus bed that is 6ft 6inches long and the full width of the van. The extra thick memory foam mattress gives a great night sleep. The bed can be set up as high bed, see photos, which gives you two additional single beds below – in the photos I’ve set the van up with its high bed. The rear facing seats in the lounge area convert into short double bed, also in the photos. Overhead lockers provide lots and lots of additional storage for clothes and pass times.
Showering and the loo.
It’s got a separate wash room cubicle with a shower and THETFORD electronic flush cassette toilet with a drying rail and clothes hooks.
Cargo.
Its great for transporting cargo as well, the dining room seat pads come out and you have 2 meters of storage space, or leave the high bed set up and you a massive compartment for bikes, great for moving furniture or stalling out at exhibitions, fairs and carnivals and can sleep on your stock.
Mechanical.
212386 miles with a new MOT.
Good mechanical history file. Drives great and in good condition for its age. Lots of life in it. We’ve had it for five years and are only replacing it as we’ve just bought a new van. It’s been serviced and MOTed by Cross Motor Engineering and is in great shape especially as it’s a 2010 vehicle.
Things you might want to do, body work is good and the sills have all just been rust treated and coated with stone chip, but some rust patches on the white work need attention. Leisure battery isn’t holding a charge too well but hooked up works perfectly, if you want to wild camp then you might add solar panels and bigger batteries. The rear reading lights aren’t connected and could be replaced with USB rechargeable ones easily enough. I’d planned to sort this but have the new van and don’t have time anymore, so have set price to reflect you’ll need to do a little bit of sorting out.
