This is a fantastic VW Transporter T4 Caravelle GL converted to a campervan. Gorgeous Jamacian Blue colour. I've owned this for 5 years and we've had many great holidays with the grandchildren, been all over the UK and its never let us down. Mechanically sound, serviced every year and only done about 2000 miles per year for the last 5 years. 2.4 non turbo engine is unbreakable, not fast but just keeps on going!…
This is a fantastic VW Transporter T4 Caravelle GL converted to a campervan. Gorgeous Jamacian Blue colour. I've owned this for 5 years and we've had many great holidays with the grandchildren, been all over the UK and its never let us down. Mechanically sound, serviced every year and only done about 2000 miles per year for the last 5 years. 2.4 non turbo engine is unbreakable, not fast but just keeps on going! Completely refurbished brake system, (refurbished front calipers, new rear wheel cylinders, brake pipes and shoes). Recent overhaul of the cooling system, no leaks and doesnt overheat. New glow plugs just fitted, starts first time even when its cold! Just been MOT'd, had a small patch welded on the nearside sill. Bodywork is reasonable for its age, some filler and very minor rust on the arches, nothing that cant be tidied up. Professionally fitted Skyline roof, M1 Crash tested Rock and Roll Bed. Fully fitted kitchen with Gas hob, Sink and Fridge, spotlights and mains sockets etc. New van battery 2 years ago, good leisure battery and split charge relay. The van has been raised slightly, uprated springs and shocks two years ago.Beautiful black wheels and good General Grabbet AT3 tyres will get you on and off any muddy campsite fields, and doesnt bottom out on the suspension like so many coverted vans that have been lowered when hitting the potholes in cornwall! Full stainless steel exhaust fitted last year. Towbar allows you to hook up your camping trailer! C rail fitted to attach your awning for that extra space. New Android head unit DAB radio, Waze apps etc, connect your iphone and away you go! Fitted a double seat but still have the original single seat and base if you want it, no extra charge. First to see will buy, need to sell it, as due to a third grandchild we've just upgraded to a LWB VW T6. Will be sorry to see this go… its been part of the family!
