The van is insulated with Celotex 25mm insulation board and Thermafleece SupaSoft polyester insulation.
The Altro safety flooring and carpet lining was done before the bespoke cabinetry was fitted to ensure no missed, or untidy corners – even on the insides of the cabinets. This adds to the quality of the overall finish even though these parts are not on show.
The bespoke cabinets provide ample storage space in the van. There is a low level cupboard to the rear of the van with a tambour door, which houses a porta potti. This is still accessible when the bed is made up. There is super storage in the kitchen area and underneath the seating. The bulkhead has been carpet lined and is ideal to store bulky items such as coats and bedding. There is a removable table which can be stored underneath the seating when not in use.
There is a Dometic 9222 two hob gas burner / sink combination unit. The hob is connected to the gas bottle by a 6mm copper pipe (as per manufacturers recommendation). The gas bottle is housed in a gas locker cabinet situated in the kitchen unit cabinet.
The sink is connected to a clean water container and has an electric pump to feed cold water through. The clean water and waste water containers are 16L capacity each and have a choice of caps. There is a Dometic 45L 12v compressor fridge.
The seating area converts to a full length double bed , measuring approx 110 x 200 cms. A standard double bed measures 135 cms in width (for a comparison). The seating cushions fit snuggly together on the base to provide a comfortable sleeping area. The van is fitted with bespoke curtains lined with blackout material to provide full privacy.
There is an Autoterm diesel heater fitted .
The electrics have been installed by a qualified auto electrical firm and include: a 12v battery, electric hook up, ceiling spotlights, reading light, kitchen light, plugs and USB charging point.
