The van is being sold as a project as the engine needs to be re commissioned before she can be started and taken to a garage for the last MOT. Next year no tax or MOT as the van will be forty years old.
An RAC mechanic has inspected the van saying minimal repairs are needed and recommended the timing belt is replaced before the engine can be started due to the SORN period.
There is no cambelt to worry about as van has a chain.
Oil and petrol may well need replacing again due to the SORN period.
Solar panel needs re connecting to the solar panel charger.
