Our LWB Citroen Relay is manual 6 speed. Bought by us in October 2014 and converted slowly over the next 12 months. Technical stuff was done by a caravan tech and woodwork by me. Every last piece of furniture is made from lightweight ply and all the correct types of fixings, as used by caravan manufacturers. The van has been regularly serviced and recent replacements include, vehicle and leisure batteries, water pump, alternator, also an airbag module expensive thingy for MOT a few weeks ago. Failed mot for headlamp bulb, replaced, Passed with advisories of brake pads and a drive shaft boot. All have been dealt with.
We have used it many times for trips to Spain but also in UK, Italy, France, Switzerland and all around Eastern Europe. It has never let us down. Everything works as it should except the fridge doesn’t work on 12v. [It does work totally reliably on mains and gas.] It has never bothered us and it is no big deal even in hotter climes. Mileage is 108,000 ish
