This is a stunning van and has been upgraded to a Day / Weekend Van at a good high standard. It can be used as a camper van and hooked up to 240v through it’s own system with a fused consumer box. The vehicle also has a Leisure Battery system, with a Large additional Battery that has an automated split charger incorporated. The Van is fully carpeted throughout the rear compartment (panels & doors), with Windows fitted to the O/S that opens/locks and N/S Window, both windows have tailored curtain sets fitted (Van Style). This vehicle is ideal for anyone who does motorcycle racing, track-days, mountain biking, or any other activity that requires a van for transporting bikes, equipment and living in for the Weekends, or longer.

The Ceiling is also carpeted and includes 4 Led Spot lamps that can be switched from a dedicated switch panel and USB Charging Panel. The floor still includes the Plastic tailored flooring and has a tailored carpet fitted as well. There is an adjustable TV Mount fitted to the rear compartment Bulk Head. There are 2 switchable, adjustable spot lights (240v) fitted to the rear compartment, O/S and N/S. There are Foldable Cup Holders O/S and N/S, great for holding glasses of wine, cans of beer etc. There is a small foldable computer / picnic table and chairs, that can be integrated to the rear compartment bulk head, or N/S Rear, this can be used for mobile office work, or even a table for the kids to play games and eat at.

This conversion has everything you would need to go camping comfortably overnight, or for a few days. I have given an option to purchase optional camping items (Nearly New), that also make this possible. Small camping items can be secured to the ceiling via 2 tie down straps (permanently fixed) and there are additional tie downs that can be purchased optionally. There is an extendable Thule Awning, that is great for a small sheltered area outside the Vans N/S Doors. There is also Led Lighting at the Sliding door entrance, handy for the dark evenings whilst sitting outside the van. The O/S Rear Window also includes a tailored vent, which can be attached with the window opened, so that cool / fresh air can be vented into the van when being slept in.

Vehicle Condition

The van has covered just 55700 Miles, drives like new and has been regularly serviced by Ford in Warrington (Pentagon). I’ve recently replaced both O/S and N/S Wiper Motors (common fault), as the connection to the O/S Motor became full of water and corroded the connections. Because of the part numbers for this particular van configuration, it was necessary to replace both N/S and O/S Motors. I’ve also replaced the connections for the O/S Motor and waterproofed the plug connection.

Last MOT Required front suspension bushes to O/S and N/S which I’ve had replaced. All Tyres have around 4mm Tread depth and are in good legal condition. There is an oil leak from the front timing cover (another common fault) which I’ve intended to get sorted when replacing the wet belts (not yet due) and have had the recall from Ford, advising that the Belt is ok and does not require replacing under warranty. There are a number of small scuffs, chips, marks etc that are standard wear & tear only, however there is a dent in the rear O/S Panel that has been there since I bought it and never got around to having it removed. One advisory comment is that one of the front Wheel bearings is noisy and would benefit from being changed.

Additional Information

I’m confident this vehicle is of sound condition and should continue to run like a dream with continuous servicing & MOT’s, the price I’m selling the vehicle at reflects current Market value for the Panel Van it was, however does not reflect the Money, hours, blood, sweat and tears I’ve put in, converting it into a Weekend van, that is capable of living in comfortably for several nights at a time. I’ll accept any serious offers, however the level of equipment that will remain with the van may change according to any offer accepted. I will give prior notice of any equipment that will not be part of the final deal.
