Our much loved camper van started out in 1998 as a Kodak film collection/delivery van which we purchased in 2004.
We sourced a local professional camper conversion company which built us our bespoke van. I had working dogs so it was important to have 1 large and 1 small cage with built in fans for the dogs.
Over the many years our faithful van has taken us around Europe, virtually all the islands on the west coast of Scotland, Outer Hebrides, Shetland and Orkneys and many more locations around the uk.
We had it resprayed around 3 years ago. At a young 28 years old she’s still got what it takes and has many more adventures left in her !!
As you will see from the photos the interior is still looking good . Unfortunately the fridge has recently after all this time decided to give up ! We have had it professionally checked , it’s not electrical and I’m told the compression side of it has failed . A new similar fridge is around £250-£450 .
The awning needs to be pulled out manually a couple of feet before it will wind the rest of the way , I understand that it most likely needs a new winding gear around £65. It winds fully back to the closed position.
There is a 50ltr on board water tank, grey water via a water hog,a boiler for hot water run either on gas or both gas/electric when hooked up.
The bathroom is a wet room with a small sink, toilet and shower.
LED lighting throughout the van. 3 x 100W solar panels on the roof which more than adequately keep the leisure batter topped up , allowing the use of a compressor fridge full time off grid.
The table and all the tops are made of corian , a premium non porous surface.
This is a 2 birth double bed van when arranged or a very spacious single.
Loads of cupboard space and hanging wardrobe. 12/24V TV, internal radio /cd . 907 gas bottle ( inc a spare) Net and full
Blinds in all rear and roof windows.
This 2.9TD engine will do 70 on the motorway all day long ! We had always said, where ever DPD can go we can too !!
With the rear step it’s 6.9mtr long , recent oil and filters change and long MOT.
We have nothing to hide and will be completely honest and open about the van.
Just added . There has been some damp in a middle cupboard too , which is under control hopefully. Looking around on EBay this van still offers value for money . Like I mentioned, we have nothing to hide.
A zip awning Safari room ( well over £1200 to buy new) , ramps, electric cables and water hog come with the van. It also has solar and power pack connectors in the small cage .
