FOR SALE – VW LWB Automatic camper van
Overview: for sale is our very well-equipped long wheelbase (LWB) automatic T5 pop top camper van. We’ve had the van for about 3 years and over that time I’ve replaced most of the components with the highest quality elements we can find. The electrics are all Victron including AC/DC DC/DC and MPPT charger and Bluetooth monitoring equipment backed yp with 200Ah LiFePO4 battery. The camper is laid out in a U shape allowing for six people to comfortably sit around the table which converts into a large double bed. It also benefits from a gas hob and sink as well as a high-end LG compressor fridge freezer. It is a 2-berth camper van allowing for lots of storage in the pop top when parked up. We have found this extremely useful. It also has a 3 metre Fiamma F45S awning with genuine Fiamma privacy room (another very expensive item and only used once). There is also a diesel heater and Thetford toilet hidden on a slide out under the unit. The passenger seat swivels and both driver and passenger seats have been recovered in black and red diamond stitching. The audio head unit is fully apple play car play enabled. It comes with the full 5.1 body kit body kit and the van was resprayed only three years ago meaning the paint work is in great condition. There is a small piece of damage on the rear bumper and dent to the door (see photos) and we are willing to have this repaired if somebody pays the full asking price as we have taken this into account. I’m sure you have noticed the 17-inch rhino wheels and off-road tyres, these offer a great combination of looks, off-road capability and low noise road driving.
Mechanically the camper is sound having had of the suspension joints replaced a new EGR and refurbished turbo and most recently a new a BS pump. We have had it serviced professionally during our ownership and have all the paperwork.
We recognise that it is a 2005 van with 152,000 miles on the clock but is also one of the highest spec’d vans we have come across reflecting an asking price of £23,995
