Romahomes are registered and taxed as a motorhome so the same as a car. I think it is about £340 for a year.
If you insure it with the clubs or specialist agent it can be insured as if it was a van and not a motor home which is cheaper. I used Adrian Flux.
It is 2. 3 meters long so will not pass under most car park barriers at 2 metres. PLUS it goes on the ferries as a car.
A drive away awning at the back is possible.
Lots of pre loved surf stickers on the back of the vehicle (Extra quirky fun vibes!)
I am a textile designer and re upholstered some of the interior (Hawaiian fabric curtains and colourful cushioned areas!) 🌈
I have spent a lot of money and time sorting this van out, I work overseas and sadly don’t have anywhere to keep the vehicle in UK winter so rust is a growing issue! (Mostly under the bonnet and interior driver door!) but the engine is SOLID I had the entire bottom welded last year and new axel along with new starting motor which bizarrely gave up this summer so that is ALL sorted.
I have insurance until NEXT WEEKEND
Just wondering if I have any takers? Would love to see it go to a lovely new owner who can look after it better than me and enjoy some fun trips!! 🚐
